Current e-hailing platforms are exploitative and are structured in a manner that places you the driver at a disadvantage, yet our research and analysis has revealed that this should not be the case. This is how we make you profitable:

We have a base fuel economy of 4.4L/100km, this is for an idle/non-moving vehicle. However, we need to provide a scenario where the challenges you face daily are taken into consideration. So we consider the following factors:
-> Your car's fuel economy.
-> Weight of luggage and passengers
-> Weather (degress Celsius)
-> Speeding & driving style
-> Terrain & quality of the roads
-> Traffic congestion
-> Idling

Each factor has an associated % effect on the base fuel economy of 4.4L/100km. The result of these added effects will provide us with a worst case fuel economy of 10.89L/100km, we mention worst case because the % effects may vary, so your vehicle would use less fuel economy than this, but our measure will be the worst case fuel economy.

Because this industry is one of fine margins, it is only fair that we establish a pricing model that takes your livelihood into consideration, you need to be able to live decently off the income you make here, we also consider the price elasticity of demand in regards to the passenger. Now, taking all this into consideration, plus the factors we mentioned previously, the price for the passenger is measured using the fuel economy 13.068L/100km, as you can tell, there is a healthy margin for profitability, but only if the formula determining the price is right.

Taking the price of petrol in real time and these factors into consideration:
-> Distance to pick up
-> Distance to drop off
-> Comfort
-> Number of passengers

We are able to establish a price that not only provides you with a profit, but it also provides the passenger with a cost they can afford. If the number of passengers is more than 1, the price model provides a higher collective cost point, this is because of the effect of added weight on the fuel economy, but to still appeal to affordability, the passengers individually will pay less. For example, if a ride is R15 for 1 person, it would be R22.50 for 2 people (x = R11.75, y = R11.75).

Children under the age of 6 are treated differently, if a passenger indicates that they are a single passenger but on arrival the driver finds a child under 6 the passenger is only charged per that passenger only. This is because a child under 6, on average, does not add plenty to the weight distributed across the car, so their weight in this instance is negligible. A passenger with a child under 6 does not get charged for the child. If, however, there are two or more children under the age of 6 than each two children are considered as a single passenger, what we mean is:
-> If one child under 6, child doesn't pay.
-> If two children under 6, children are charged as one passenger.
-> If three children under 6, only two children are charged as one passenger.
-> If four children under 6, children are charged as two passengers.

Your safety and security is a major priority to us, so to showcase this we are introducing a feature that requires a biometric check of the willing passenger, by that we mean that before accepting a ride the passenger must submit a Face ID that will be compared to their profile picture, you will than verify the authenticity of whether the passenger is who they say they are before you can pick them up.

To further illustrate our commitment to your safety and security, you can set predefined zones of exclusion that you won't be able to pick up or drop off a passenger in. Only willing passengers in your determined operational zones will be able to get a ride with you.

We will also provide a mechanism within the app to listen for the word "Help" three consecutive times, if it happens that you are in danger, it will alert us as the organisation and we will take action to ensure that you receive the assistance you need and that you are safe. "Help" 3 consecutive times is the safe word. This will also function as the panic button set out by the regulations gazzetted by the Department of Transport.

Our algorithm also ensures that there is an equitable distribution of rides, and to be open and honest about this we will notify you about the average rides others have had and we will encourage you to take more rides by the algorithm recommending and placing you at the front of the line. Everyone should eat.

We also provide you with a dashboard of the rides, petrol price, how much you've made, how much you've spent in either petrol or diesel, and also how much you owe us, so that you can keep a detailed and thorough report of where exactly your money is going.

The platform is really available anywhere, by this we mean that how the pricing model is structured it even accounts for there being only one driver in a city or towm, and as a company if you as a driver subscribes to our service we will help you by advertising in your area, even if you're the only driver and the algorithm will account for that. This is about you, not us. We will ensure that two outcomes prevail: affordability for the passenger and profitability for you, the driver.

Now, these are the requirements:
-> Roadworthiness certificate from the Department of Transport.
-> Car must be in good condition.
-> No cosmetic damage, no dents, dings, scratches and scraped bumpers.
-> License disk
-> Proof of identification
-> Proof of residence
-> Driver's license
-> Provide a driver profile photo
-> Submit photos of your vehicle, not older than a 2 weeks. You will also be required to perform random car photo verificatoin and driver biometric checks.
-> In between rides you will be required to share pictures or a video of the inside of your vehicle. This too will be at random.

The Roadworthiness Certificate must be submitted every 3 months, that is why for the first 30 days of signing up, and operating, it won't be required, this is because you need to be provided with an opportunity to start making money first.

The payment system is this instance won't be provided by us, this is because integrating a payment system would significantly increase the cost of the service, which in turn will affect you the driver as well as the passenger. So we suggest that you acquire a Yoco Card Machine or an iK Flyer Lite Portable Card Machine, or any speed point of your choosing, in the meantime, card or cashless transactions can be achieved by using Scan to Pay on the available top banks in South Africa. This is a minor inconvenience, but we had to take actions that'll keep the cost of the service, for both the driver and passenger, down.

Now, I am sure you're thinking what's the catch? To be honest.. there is none.

We don't charge a commission, only a service fee.
-> If price is under R33, service fee is R1.
-> If price is above R33 but under R60, service fee is R3.
-> If price is above R60 but under R110, service fee is R5.
-> If price is above R110 but under R185, service fee is R10.
-> If price is above R185 but under R260, service fee is R15.
-> If price is above R260, service fee is R22.

After the end of each week, that is on Sunday, we will provide the total service fee due to us. And we intend on sticking with this fee structure until the forseeable future, the money you make is yours, you earned it.

So, are you ready to sign up?
